Caroline Roberts Obituary
Caroline "Sweet Caroline" Roberta Roberts, 54, of Fort Myers, Florida, beloved daughter of Pamela Cochran and Albert Honegan, passed away surrounded by love and family. Born on September 23, 1971, in New Britain, Connecticut Caroline lived a life defined by kindness, generosity, and deep compassion for others.
Known to everyone as "Sweet Caroline," she touched countless hearts with her warmth and her giving spirit. If she had the means to give, she gave - never hesitating to help anyone in need. She was a light to all who met her, offering encouragement, laughter, and unconditional love.
Caroline dedicated 13 years of her career to the Early Childhood Coalition, where she poured her heart into helping children and families in her community. She also dreamed of earning a degree in criminal justice so she could work with at-risk youth - a reflection of her lifelong passion for making a difference in people's lives.
She married the love of her life, James Ashley Roberts, on August 18, 2012, and together they built a home filled with love and laughter. Caroline was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. Her greatest joy was her family, whom she cherished beyond measure.
She is survived by her loving husband, James Roberts; her children, Leonard Griffin Jr. (Evelyn Santiago) and Pamela Griffin (Christopher Wright); and her beloved grandchildren, Leonard Griffin III and Madison Griffin, who brought endless happiness to her life. She is also survived by her sister, Regina Cochran, and her aunts, Debra Singleton, Mary Eschner, and Velma Bell, along with many other relatives and friends who loved her dearly.
Caroline's gentle heart, her generosity, and her radiant smile will be remembered always. Though her time with us was far too short, her love will live on in the countless lives she touched.
