Carolyn was a wonderful woman. We got the pleasure of getting to know her and some of her family well as we cared for her in her last year of life. This time of her life could be very trying to say the least but we believe we navigated it together as a team well. It was a team effort. Between the caring staff that went above and beyond, her generous sons that visited daily, and the 4 legged kids that sat on her bed jumping and slopping kisses on everyone; life was bearable but still painful. She always thanked us for anything that we did for her no matter how small the deed was (many times it was just sitting and comforting her) even though it was part of our job. It was genuine appreciation when she offered it and she considered the two of us specifically as two of her own children. Her sons visited nearly every day and showed their appreciation to our staff in many ways. We extend our condolences to her entire family but specifically to George and Tony and his family for being integral in helping us care for her the best we could. You know where to find us, it´s the only thing we want to continue doing as our part of contribution to making the world a little better for each other. All our love, Shane and Jules
