Carolyn M. Baker

Carolyn M. Baker, 82, died peacefully on Friday, September 26, 2025 at Baystate Medical Center. Born in Springfield, MA, to the late Walter and Lillian (Kemple) Nietupski, she was a longtime Wilbraham resident. As a Registered Nurse, Carolyn worked for Cooley Dickinson Hospital and then for many years in the Hampden Wilbraham Regional School District. She was an avid reader and loved to knit. She spent many hours out in the sun, gardening. In addition to her parents, Carolyn was also predeceased by her husband Edward Baker and her sister Judith Arslanian. She will be sadly missed by her two devoted children; Adam Baker of Huntsville, NC and Christine Hooey, and her husband Loren, of Three Rivers, MA and four cherished grandchildren; Addison, Zimo, Matt, and Calix, as well as numerous great grandchildren. Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, October 7th from 4-6 PM at Wilbraham Funeral Home, 2551 Boston Rd., Wilbraham.
