Carolyn Ann (Johnson) Beauvois – of Catlin, IL, went peacefully home to her Lord and Savior on Monday September 22, 2025, surrounded by loved ones after several years long courageous battle with various cancers. Always tenacious and fighting each battle with fierce determination and winning twice. Always ready to sing the hymn "It Is Well With my Soul" for peace when things got hard and overwhelming, and a smile and a joke when things were simpler. She loved hard and deep, and her family was her biggest pride.

A 1994 graduate of South Vermillion High School, she spent the majority of her life growing up herself and raising her own family around the Dana/St Bernice area. She attended Northside Baptist Church in Charleston, Illinois.

Her children were her sole entire focus in this life she chose to lead, and her world. A very, very proud momma to Shai Harrison (Caleb) of Clinton, Gabriel Chowning, US Navy, Great Lakes, IL, and Isaac Chowning, Danville, IL. She didn't know how to be anything other than mom and loved those kids immensely.

Loved ones greeting her in heaven include her biggest life fan, who she herself lost as a young adult, her Daddy, Ray Ingram. Also, her father Charlie Johnson, brothers Chucky Johnson and Steve Ingram. Maternal grandparents James and Myrtle Chambers, paternal grandparents John and Betty Johnson and several aunts, uncles, and cousins too numerous to mention.

Other survivors include her husband Shawn Beauvois of Catlin, her mother Carolyn (Chambers) Ingram of Terre Haute. Stepsisters Joyce Storkman of Kingman and Diana Denton of Paris, brothers Dustin Ingram of Montezuma and Kenneth Ingram of Terre Haute. Many, many nieces and nephews.

One lesson she learned in this short life is that it isn't just blood that makes you family. Other "family" she wanted mentioned as well are Randy and Ophelia O'Brien, lovingly called Mami and Pop, mom n dad, her folks, and they call her daughter, of Charleston, IL. Her very best friend for over 25 years Christyna Thompson. And adopted in love son Dominic Evans of Charleston, his fiancé Emily Doyle, their baby they allowed me to "grandma" little Olliver Evans.

Services arranged by Frist Funeral Home and will be held at the chapel in Bono Cemetery on Friday September 26, 2025. Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. (EST). Service will be at 3:00 p.m. with Pastor Keith McIntyre officiating. Burial to follow in cemetery.
