Max Brannon & Sons Funeral Home - CalhounCarolyn Cochran, 80, of Calhoun, Georgia, passed away on Thursday, November 6, 2025. She was born on April 13, 1945, to the late Farris and Mary Shepherd. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Brent Cochran.
Carolyn was a successful realtor, and prior to retirement, worked at Flipper McDaniel and Associates. She was a member of Belmont Baptist Church.
Carolyn is survived by her loving husband of 62 years, Clifford “Pete” Cochran; son and daughter-in-law, Brett and Charma Cochran; grandchildren, Andrew Cochran and Maggie (Cooper) Smith.
The family will receive friends on Monday, November 10, 2025, from 1:00 PM until 3:00 PM at Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home.
The funeral service will be held on Monday, November 10, 2025, at 3:00 PM from the Chapel of Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Chandler Cemetery. Pallbearers serving are Flipper McDaniel, Clay Baker, Jeff Baker, Jonathan Parker, Dereck Weaver, and Cooper Smith. Honorary pallbearers are Sidney Abernathy, Terry Brumlow, Kenneth Abernathy, Randy Abernathy, Danny Dobson, Michael Parker, and Sammy Mize.
The Brannon family and staff are honored to serve the family of Carolyn Cochran.
