Carolyn Sue Epps

Carolyn Sue Epps went to be with Jesus on November 9, 2025, in Chouteau, Oklahoma, at the age of 80. She was born on March 21, 1945, in Okmulgee, Oklahoma, to Carl and Florence Cypert. She married the love of her life, Dewey Epps, on June 3, 1963. She was a graduate of Will Rogers High School.
Carol was a devoted member of Locust Grove Free Will Baptist Church, where she and Dewey faithfully taught the 2- and 3-year-old class for many years. She cherished time spent with Dewey, her sisters, and her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. Carol valiantly battled Multiple Sclerosis for 52 years, showing remarkable strength throughout her life.
She is survived by her husband, Dewey; her children, Tammy Craft and husband Scott of Pryor, Tim Epps and wife Gina of Pryor, and Traci Morris and husband Charles of Moore; her sister, Janet Stark and husband Gale of Peggs; six grandchildren-Brittany, Tiffany, Treyce, Chaney, Chelsey, and Chase; and six great-grandchildren-Landrey, Nash, Haddie, Easton, Brecken, and Aspen.
Carol was preceded in death by her parents, Carl and Florence Cypert, and her sisters, Mary Hamilton and Charlotte Huck.
