Carolyn Henderson Evans of Logansport, Louisiana passed away April 18, 2021 at the age of 74. Funeral Services honoring her life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, April 21, 2021 at First Baptist Church in Logansport, Louisiana. Officiating the service will be Rev. Charles Hall and Rev. Shawn Thrapp. A visitation will be held at 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, April 20, 2021 at First Baptist Church in Logansport, Louisiana

Carolyn was born in Mansfield, Louisiana on February 2, 1947 to Fred Newton Henderson and Terion Murline Bounds Henderson. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Logansport, Louisiana. She was a member of organizations like the Lions Club and Ladies Auxiliary Fire Department. She retired from Desoto Parish School System after working there for 22 and a half years. In her spare time Carolyn loved to crochet and spend time with her dogs.
Carolyn is preceded in death by her Parents, Fred and Terion Henderson; Brother, Freddie Lamar Henderson; and Special Cousin, Jeanette Fleck.
Carolyn is survived by her Husband of 55 years, William Scott Evans of Logansport, Louisiana; Sons, Christopher Evans of Logansport, Louisiana, Chase and Megan Evans of Logansport, Louisiana; Daughter, Corre Lynn Evans of Logansport, Louisiana; Grandchildren, Emily and Austin Hermann of Okanawa, Japan, Valarie Widmer and Fiancé Tyler Privenzon of Gramercy, Louisiana, Adiley Evans of Logansport, Louisiana, Kaiyne Evans of Logansport, Louisiana, Taityn Evans of Logansport, Louisiana; Great-Grandchild, Kyla Widmer; and Aunt, Jean Bounds of Logansport, Louisiana.
Serving Carolyn as Pallbearers will be Kenneth Hughes, Randy Bounds, Allen Bounds, Gary Henderson, Jonathan Cordova, and Bill Martin.
