Carolyn Deanie Ezell

Carolyn Deanie Ezell, 75, passed away Thursday, November 6, 2025, at home with her family by her side. She was born on October 13, 1950, to Raymond and Juanita (Doories) Shoemaker.

Carolyn was a heavy equipment operator and spent time working on a farm as well. She was known for her strong work ethic and dedication to the work she was performing. She took pride in her career and faced every challenge with determination and strength.

Carolyn and her beloved husband Donnie shared forty wonderful years together before his passing. As a mother, she was selfless and nurturing, always sacrificing for her children and teaching them about the values of hard work and integrity.

Carolyn was very proud of her role, not only as a mother but also as the matriarch of five generations. She loved her family dearly and guided them with wisdom and strength. She will be missed by many who will share beautiful memories to reminisce about, which will bring peace and love to her family.

Those left to cherish her memory are her children: Tony (Terri) Nickles, Bonita (Dave) Nickles, Bobby (Roxanne) Ezell, Michael Ezell, Joy Ellen, grandchildren: Matthew, Jonathan, Andria, Amanda, Kaylee, Gage, Emmaleigh, Coupe, Lillyann, Jamie, Samantha, great-grandchildren: Blake, Austin, Hudson, Gunner, Kaiden, Ellie, Lukas, Tristen, Oliver, Opal, Sidas, Kendra, Kiera, Hunter, great-great-grandchildren: Conner, Cade, Bodie, other relatives, and friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Donnie Ezell, son, Jonny Shadell, and grandson, Samual Tumbleson.
