Carolyn R. Futch

Carolyn R. Futch, 76, of Palatka, passed from this life on Wednesday, August 10, 2022 at Haven Hospice Roberts Care Center following an extended illness. She was born in Crescent City and had been a lifelong resident of Putnam County. Carolyn worked as a bookkeeper at the Georgia Pacific Federal Credit Union (now First Coast). She enjoyed gardening and spending time with her family and friends, especially her grandchildren. Carolyn was of the Christian faith.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Michael D. Futch, brothers, Vernon Rials and Patrick Rials and sister, Mildred Paglierani
She is survived by her children, Naomi Lyn Brown (Keith), Julie Lyn Gore (Brian) and Dwight Marcus Smith, brother, Allen Rials, sister, Phyllis Canupp, 6 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
Services will be held at 7:00 pm on Tuesday, August 16, 2022 at Johnson-Overturf Chapel in Palatka with Bro. John Cameron officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday from 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm.
