Carolyn F. Gaines, age 63, of Munfordville, KY, passed away Monday, January 20, 2025 at the Medical Center in Bowling Green. She was a member of Morning Star Baptist Church. She enjoyed spending time with her daughter, shopping, working her puzzle books, doing her nails, playing cards and attending functions at the Old Homeplace Center.
She is the daughter of the late Jim Paul and Celia Brown Paul.
She is preceded in death by her three brothers, James "Blue" Paul, Clarence "Mickey" Paul, and Billy Joe Paul.
She is survived by her husband; Gary Gaines, Munfordville, KY; a daughter, Janice Paul (Demont Belt), Glasgow, KY; one son, Michael Austin; four granddaughters, Nikita, Trinity, Daysha, Mia; one grandson, Trevor; two sisters, Shirley Bradley (Rev. Donnie) and Maryann Bradley (John Lee); one brother, David Paul; three sisters-in-law, Carmon Dixon (Russell), Karen Gaines, and Marie Paul; one brother-in-law, Mitchell Gaines; several nieces, nephews and other extended family also survives.
The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM- 1:00 PM CT on Friday, January 24, 2025 at Brooks Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM CT on Friday, January 24, 2025 at Brooks Funeral Home with Rev. Warner Fishback and Rev. Donnie Bradley officiating. Burial will follow at Allen Seminary Cemetery.
