Carolyn Beverly (Gold)

Carolyn Beverly Meggison (Gold), z"l, of Boca Raton, FL, age 91, passed away Saturday, November 22, 2025. Carolyn was born in the Bronx, NY in 1934, at the height of the Depression.

She originally lived in Harlem, NY, was raised in Fair Lawn, NJ and retired to Boca Raton, FL. Carolyn was always family oriented. She would speak daily with her younger brother, Stephen. All of her children called her on a regular basis. Her grandchildren also called and visited her. Carolyn had no formal college degree. She was a stay-at-home Mom until 1973. In 1973, she got a job at IBM in Poughkeepsie, NY on the assembly line building typewriters and personal computers. She received several promotions. She retired from IBM in 1992 as an Administrative Specialist. In 1992, she started a second career with the Delray Beach Water Utilities, in Delray Beach, FL. Carolyn retired from the Utility company in 2005.

Carolyn had several unique talents, including typing over 90 words per minute. She proudly raised and is survived by 6 children (Mitchell, Pinchas, Louis, Aaron, Fay and Andrew) and brother (Stephen Gold). All 6 children had successful careers and raised families of their own. Carolyn's numerous children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and friends will miss her dearly.

May Carolyn's memory be a blessing and may the family be comforted among the mourners of Zion Jerusalem.

Funeral services will be held on November 25, 2025, at 2pm at Riverside Cemetery in Saddle Brook, NJ,
