Carolyn Hague

I was incredibly saddened to learn of Carolyn’s passing. I had the pleasure of serving with her husband at a couple of Marine Corps duty stations, and through him came to know and admire Carolyn. The narrative which accompanied the notice of her passing is completely accurate; she was a terrifically kind, friendly and lovely woman. I admired greatly the relationship she shared with her husband, and came to realize that their children were the beneficiaries of their father adhering to the advice of Samuel Johnson - the greatest gift a father can give to his children is to love their mother. I grieve for the Hague family and pray that a merciful God will comfort them during this most difficult time.
