It is with heavy hearts and much love that we remember the life of Susanne Haynes, 66, of Rhome, Texas, who passed away on December 11, 2024, in Denton, Texas. Born in El Paso, Texas, on June 15, 1958, to William and Nita Gaddy, Susanne was a woman of remarkable strength, unwavering determination, and boundless love for her family.
She was a devoted wife to Johnny Haynes, a supportive mother to her two children Adrienne and Michael, and a loving grandmother to six beautiful grandchildren. As a young woman, she was intensely competitive. Notably, she was an accomplished bowler that enjoyed competing in a league with her husband.
As a mother, the support she provided her children was unmatched. She expressed her love through the art of gift giving. Whether big or small, each gift was a tangible reflection of her deep affection, thoughtfulness, and desire to bring joy to those she loved. If left to her own devices, she would have given endlessly and selflessly as she was never content to stop at just one.
More than anything, her legacy is one of laughter and joy. No matter the situation, her quick wit and sense of humor could lift anyone’s spirits. Susanne’s love, devotion, and generosity will be deeply missed, but her spirit will live on the hearts of those who knew her.
She was preceded in death by her mother, father, and brother.
Today, she is remembered by her husband, Johnny; daughter, Adrienne Kendrick and her husband, Jason; son, Michael and his wife, Katie; and grandchildren, Peyton, James, Penny, Christopher, Jack, and Luke.
