Carolyn June Holloway

Carolyn June Holloway was born on April 9, 1933, in Bristol, Virginia, to Clarence and Carty Whitson. On November 6, 2025, surrounded by family, she peacefully went home to be with the Lord.

On December 24, 1949, Carolyn married the love of her life, Bobby Holloway Sr., and together they built a home grounded in faith, devotion, and unwavering commitment to one another. Carolyn was a loving wife and mother whose gentle spirit and steadfast Christian faith shaped every part of her life.

She served as a quality control supervisor for military-grade microchips, owned the Superior Miss Pageant System, and shared her musical gifts as a professional gospel and country singer alongside her sisters, Helen Booher and Janice Greene. Their music brought joy to countless hearts and reflected Carolyn's deep love for the Lord.

Carolyn is preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Holloway Sr.; her son, Bobby Holloway Jr.; her daughter, Yvonne Parker; and her grandson, Bobby Holloway.

She is survived by her children- Debbie Armstrong (Keith), Michael Holloway, Bridget Cade (Cliff), and Sarena Morris (Ponelli) - as well as her grandchildren Cory Holloway, Kyle Cade, Demi Nugent, Stevie Clark, Krystal McGee, Billy McCarty, and Anthony Penland. Her great-grandchildren are August, Stacy, Paisley, Bianca, Ashton, Nova, Gabriel, Owen, Charlotte, Angelique, Lily, Cohen, and Harlow.

Carolyn's life was a testament to love, faith, music, and family. She will be forever cherished and deeply missed.

Committal

A private burial service will be held at DFW National Cemetery.
