Carolyn Ann Johnston

Carolyn Ann Johnston, age 82, of Buckhannon, WV went home to be with the Lord on Monday, November 17, 2025. She was born on December 31, 1942, in Newlon, WV. Carolyn was the cherished daughter of Marvin H. and Clarice England Page of Newlon, WV.

Carolyn is survived by her loving husband Kenneth, of Buckhannon, WV, whom she married on February 1, 1961. She is also survived by three sons: Kenny, Khris and wife Kelli all of Buckhannon and Terry and Tricia of Bridgeport; six grandchildren: Kade Johnston and wife Holly, Corey Johnston, Kristen Cutlip and husband Todd, Mason Bailey all of Buckhannon, Jordan Johnston of Morrisville, NC and Lauran Johnston of Morgantown; two great grandchildren; Charlotte and Teddy Johnston; one sister Mary Johnston of New Brighton, PA and many loving nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers: Cecil A Page and Marvin Wayne "Casey" Page; three sisters: Marvelene Lewis, Violet "June" Zickefoose and Marjorie Lewis; five infant brothers and sisters.

Carolyn was a loving and caring wife, a devoted grandmother and a woman of great faith. She enjoyed the beauty of nature and often took long drives through the countryside (with her husband Kenneth) to photograph God's creation. She dedicated her life to mastering her craft as a seamstress, providing her services to countless people in the area. Carolyn found joy in not only her work, but crafting, baking, reading, and spending time with her family. She was an active member of Christian Fellowship Church, and her faith was a source of strength throughout her life.

The family will receive friends at Christian Fellowship Church on Saturday, November 22, 2025, from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM, at which time a memorial service will be held with Pastor Ed McDaniels officiating.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be made to the Ellamore Volunteer Fire Department in care of Kenneth Johnston at 8123 Old Elkins Road, Buckhannon, WV 26201.
