Carolyn Berthelot Landry

Carolyn Berthelot Landry, a loving mother, grandmother, mother-in-law, sister, godmother and friend passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, October 8, 2024, at the age of 75. She was a resident of Plaquemine and a native of Bayou Pigeon, LA. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 12, 2024, from 11:30am until Mass of Christian Burial at 1pm. Interment will follow at Grace Memorial Park, Plaquemine. Carolyn is survived by her children, Brandi Landry Ramagos and wife Michele, and Trevor Landry and wife Megan; stepson, John Wayne Polk; grandchildren, Drake Lemmler and fiancé Maci, Taylor and Skylor Polk, Mason, Hadlee and Hazleigh Landry; great grandson, Luke Lemmler; brother, Rodney John Berthelot and wife Holly; numerous nieces and nephews; and others that loved her as their "Granny". Preceded in death by her husband, John Wayne Landry; parents, Hadley and Hazel Hebert Berthelot; and niece, Krissy Berthelot. To know Carolyn was to love her, she could light up a room. She loved swamp pop music, playing bingo, and going to the casino. Carolyn enjoyed spending time with her family and gossiping on the phone with her besties Adrina, Geraldine, and Brenda. When she wasn't on the phone gossiping you could find her spending time with Mignonne and Patricia.
