Carolyn Elizabeth McClinton

Funeral Services for Carolyn Elizabeth McClinton, age 88, of Carriere, MS, who passed away Wednesday, February 11, 2026, will be held, Saturday, February 14, 2026 at 3:00 pm at Serenity Landmark Missionary Baptist Church.

Visitation will be Friday, February 13, 2026 from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at McDonald Funeral Home and again on Saturday, February 14, 2026 from 2:00 pm until 3:00 pm.

Burial will be in Sones Chapel Cemetery under the direction of McDonald Funeral Home.

Bro. Lynn Martin, Elder Tommy Hudnall, and Bro. Billy Reyer will officiate the service.

A native of Picayune, MS, she was a Homemaker and a member of Serenity Landmark Missionary Baptist Church. Family was very important to Carolyn, she loved to care for them; She was a fantastic cook and loved to share with her family and friends. Carolyn was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and friend who will be deeply missed.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Oscar Stockstill, and Carrie Smith Stockstill; sister, Linnie Sue Carbonette; brother, Monroe Stockstill.

Left to cherish her memory are her loving and devoted husband of 67 years, Frank McClinton, Jr.; children, Kelton (Cathy) McClinton, Kendall McClinton, Lisa (Jim) McClinton Googe; grandchildren, Mark, Mary Catherine, Josh, Elizabeth, Benjamin and Joshua; great grandchildren, Clayton, Ben, Bailey, Beckett, and Thomas; brothers, Arnold (Betty) Stockstill and Granville Stockstill.
