Carolyn Miller, 87, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, October 28, 2024.
Carolyn was born on December 8, 1936, in Albany, Georgia to the late James and Lettie Lucille Miller. Born and raised in Albany, Carolyn attended Albany High School and earned her high school diploma from Albany High and later attended Fairfax Hall Women’s Junior College. In June of 1955, she married and started a family; they moved around the country before settling in Warner Robins in 1966. Here, she began working in customer service for C&S Bank. While employed for C&S Bank, and in cooperation with them, she became a founding member of The Newcomers Club and Junior Women’s Club in Warner Robins. From there, she worked for ten years for and retired from the Phoenix Center. A woman of faith, she was a longtime member at Trinity Methodist Church. Her presence will be deeply missed by those she held dear.
Her memory will forever be treasured by her children, Sheryl Plummer Trent (Michael) of Warner Robins, Mark Plummer of Watkinsville, and Susan Plummer Mason of Kathleen; grandchildren, Brian Trent (Laura), Bobby Trent, and Hamilton Mason; along with five great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild, and many other loving family members and friends.
Visitation will be Thursday, October 31, 2024, from 4:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. A funeral service will immediately follow at 5:00 p.m. in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully suggests memorial donations be given in memory of Carolyn Miller to Trinity United Methodist Food Pantry at 129 S Houston Road, Warner Robins, GA 31088.
