It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Carolyn Pathkiller of Westville, OK. Carolyn, a devout Christian woman, was called home to be with her Lord on September 29, 2024, at the age of 75. Born in Sacramento, CA on November 3, 1948, Carolyn lived a life filled with love, faith, and kindness.
She will be lovingly remembered as a talented quilt maker, a woman who enjoyed reading her Bible and watching movies, and a gifted cook who found joy in sharing meals with those she cared for.
She is reunited in heaven with her husband, Charlie Pathkiller, her parents, Pearl and Lilly Swatsenburg, her siblings, Chuck, Ronnie, Hubert, Kenneth, Larry Swatsenburg, Peggy Fillmore, Audrey Turknett, her son Kevin Pathkiller, and son-in-law Robert Loudermilk.
Carolyn leaves behind a legacy of love, survived by her children, Charles (Janie) Pathkiller, Shonda Loudermilk, Lisa Pathkiller and her significant other Blending Taylor, and Darrin (Franchaska) Pathkiller, as well as her sister, Betty Kadri, and brother, Gary Swatsenburg. She also leaves behind numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren, along with nieces, nephews, and friends who will miss her dearly.
A visitation will be held October 2nd, 2024 from 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm at Hart Funeral Home in Stilwell, OK. A Funeral Service honoring Carolyn's life will be held on October 3, 2024, at 2:00 pm at Hart Funeral Home in Stilwell, OK. Following the service, a burial will take at Westville City Cemetery. The service will be a celebration of Carolyn's life and the profound impact she made on all those who knew her.
May she rest in peace, surrounded by the love and light she shared so generously during her time on earth.
