Carolyn Sessions

A graveside funeral service for Carolyn Sessions, 81, of Lake Cherokee and formerly of Alto, will be Monday, May 20th, at 2 PM in the Arnold Cemetery near Forest with Bro Roy Fox officiating. Carolyn passed away Friday, May 17th in Longview. She was born December 17, 1942 in Jacksonville, Texas to Ray Hearne and Elizabeth Byers Hearne who preceded her in death. Carolyn had lived at Lake Cherokee for the last 11 years and was a member of the Tatum Church of Christ. She was retired from Terrell State Hospital where she had worked as an RN. She loved to fish and sew and was good at refinishing antique furniture. She was an excellent cook and made delicious homemade rolls. Carolyn was also preceded in death by her twin brother Carroll Hearne and sister Diane Edwards. She is survived by husband Gale B. Sessions of Lake Cherokee, daughters Selena Simmermann (Buddy) of Lake Cherokee, Anita Albert (James Bush) and Melissa Davis (Evan) of Lufkin, sons Keith Lindsey (Angelica) of Alto and Brady Lindsey (Megan) of Alto, 14 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
