Carolyn Sue Smith

Carolyn Sue Smith – age 73 of Morristown, passed away Friday, June 13, 2025. She is preceded in death by her mother, Rachel Smith; husband, Henry Earl Ellison; daughter, Joele Smith; son, Dustin Ellison.
She is survived by her sons, Roy Smith and wife Jessica of Knoxville, Jason Smith and wife Linda of Corryton; grandchildren, Michael, Asia, Dariane, Colbey, Lucas, Madison and Hannah; special great-grandson, Brycen. She will be remembered for her loving heart to all who knew her. The family would like to express their deepest gratitude to Linda for the love, compassion and dedicated care she provided to Carolyn during her time of need. Linda your kindness brought comfort and peace in her final days and our family will forever be thankful.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. on Sunday, June 15, 2025, at Cooke-Campbell Mortuary. The funeral service will be at 11:00 A.M. on Monday, June 16, 2025, Cooke-Campbell Mortuary, Rev. Greg Hurst officiating, reading of the obituary and singer, Rick Roop. Interment service will immediately follow the funeral service at Wilson Cemetery in Speedwell. Pallbearers will be Lucas Smith, Colbey Smith, Michael Ellison, Rick Roop, Hank Ellison, Justin Peters. Arrangements by Cooke-Campbell Mortuary in Maynardville.
