Carolyn K. Tullis, 87, Peru, Indiana, and formerly of Monticello, Kentucky, passed away on Friday morning, September 19, 2025, at her residence.
Born June 29, 1938, in Hyden, Kentucky, she was the daughter of Ernest Keen and Anna Lee (Burke) Keen. On February 20, 1965, in Virginia, she was married to David Ray Tullis, and he preceded her in death.
Carolyn was a graduate of Leslie County, Kentucky schools in 1956 and went on to attend Beauty College and became a licensed beautician. She retired from General Motors Corporation in 1996, and she enjoyed reading and gambling, spending time at any casino where she could find a seat.
Survivors include her two daughters, Renee (Robin) Foust, Peru; and Rhonda (Rick) Boone, Beavercreek, Ohio; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; sisters, Molly (Bobby) Blanton, Miamisburg, Ohio; and Louise Allen, Middletown, Ohio; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in by her parents; husband; and siblings, Joyce Hampton, John D. Keen, and Paul E. Keen.
Graveside services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 27, 2025, with Pastor Gary Clark officiating at Elk Spring Cemetery, Monticello, Kentucky, where she will be laid to rest next to her husband.
