Born in Cleveland, Ohio, Carolyn was the daughter of Joyce Cassick and William Tyson. She was a bright and inquisitive student, excelling in her favorite subjectsmath, spelling, and P.E. Carolyn went on to marry her now former husband, Tim Eilers, with whom she shared two children, and later had her two youngest children with her twins father, Jesse Cardenas. Known for her intelligence and technical skills, she pursued a career as an alarm installer and held various positions throughout her life. Her favorite job was working in cannabis along side her son, a job she deeply enjoyed and took great pride in. She would tell you her greatest achievement was her four children.
From her oldest son and firstborn, Justin:
For my one-of-a-kind mom we had so many good times, filled with laughter, love, and memories Ill never forget. Ill miss your smile, your hugs, and you saying, Stop it, Juss. Life just wont be the same without you, Mom.
From her oldest daughter, Cristina:
My beautiful mother, you are one in a million with your sweet, sassy, blunt, no-bull outlook on life. You were always unapologetically yourself. So full of life! I always wanted to be just like you. If I had to pick my own mother, I would pick you 100 times over. You were also the best Nana to all your grandkids. I love and miss you forever.
From her youngest son, Cody:
Very full of life. Always had the right things to say, super generous, will be missed and never forgotten. May the journey to your next chapter be just as amazing as youve imprinted on us. I love you more than I can express. Fly high, Mom.
From her youngest daughter, Katie:
To my mom. You were my protector. The first person to love me. You knew how to party and didnt take no crap from anyone. Im gonna miss our long talks and the advice only you could give. You will forever be in my heart and dearly missed every day. I love you, Mom. Hope you got that cigarette. Fly high.
