Sue was a 1955 graduate of Mt. Vernon High School in Mt. Vernon, Missouri. She worked as a cook for the Aurora School District.
On July 8, 1957, she was united in marriage with John Wesley Wise in San Antonio, Texas. He preceded her in death on May 1, 2025.
Sue is survived by her three daughters, Kim (Terry) Bagby of Aurora, Missouri, Sally Jessee of Aurora, Missouri and Lori (David) Tegarden of Springfield, Missouri; four grandchildren, Lyndy (Burt) Burtrum, Sarah (Matt) Rafferty, Kyle (Alyssa) Bagby and Clayton (Mia) Bagby; three great-grandchildren, Carson, Lauren and Brendon and several nieces and nephews.
Sue was preceded in death by her parents, Russell, and Bernice; two brothers, Don, and Bill Bassore; four sisters, Virginia Richardson, Pat Neely, Bobby Pruente and Mary Ruth Powell and son-in-law, Herb Jessee.
A graveside service under the direction of Crafton-Cantrell Funeral Home, in Aurora, will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, November 12, 2025, at Maple Park Cemetery in Aurora, Missouri.
