Carolyn Annette Edwards Perry Wright, 65, of Bladenboro passed away Friday, October 21, 2022 at Cape Fear Valley hospital in Fayetteville. She was preceded in death by her parents, Willard and Elizabeth Edwards; brothers: Charlie and Wilton Edwards and husband, Raymond Perry.
Left to cherish her memory is husband, Leroy Wright of the home; five children: Buddy Perry, Andrew Perry, Lynn Sykes and husband Cory, Henry Kinlaw and wife Cheryl, Gregory Kinlaw; grandchildren: Michelle (Nick), Hunter, Noah, Lucus, Crystal, Austin and Cody; great-grandchildren: Amberlyn, Atley; sister, Louise Barrett; brother, Jerry Atkinson and wife Linda; her fur babies: Molly, Winston, Lil Blue and lots of nieces and nephews.
Carolyn's children described their mother as a simple lady who loved her family, grandchildren and husband. She enjoyed working in her yard, taking care of her fur babies and cooking. Her dressing was known as the best around. Carolyn loved singing in her church and always made the best out of any situation. Her love and kindness will be greatly missed by all who admired her.
The family will receive friends from 6-8pm on Tuesday, October 25th at the Bladenboro chapel of Bladen Gaskins Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held at 3pm on Wednesday, October 26th at the Bladenboro chapel of Bladen Gaskins Funeral Home with the Rev. Charlie Tatum officiating service. Burial will follow in the Memory Lane cemetery in Bladenboro.
