Carolyn Louise Wurstner

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Carolyn Louise Wurstner, who passed away peacefully in her home on November 6, 2025, at the age of 73. Born on December 17, 1951, in Charleston, WV, Carolyn spent her life nurturing her family and creating a home filled with warmth, love, and countless cherished memories.

Carolyn was a proud graduate of the West Tech Class of 1969. Throughout her life, she found joy in cooking and sharing meals with her loved ones. A master of arts and crafts, she delighted in creating handmade treasures for those around her, often spending countless hours making ceramics and other crafts that brought smiles to the faces of family and friends. Her love for games, particularly BINGO, pinochle and cards, brought her many happy moments with loved ones.

She is survived by her husband, Andrew "Buzz" Wurstner, III, her beloved daughter Faye Wurstner-Reagan, and a treasured group of grandchildren: Shane, Haley, Andrew, Lucas, Joseph, Patrick, Michael, Noah, along with many other children who were not of her blood but whom she loved dearly. Carolyn is predeceased by her parents, Valentine and Eva Sayre, her dear son Andrew Wurstner IV, her infant son, Christopher Wurstner, her son-in-law Matthew Reagan, and her siblings, Junior, Frances, William, and Sanford.

A celebration of Carolyn's life will take place on November 18, 2025. Visitation will start at 10:00 AM at Busch Funeral Home in Fairview Park, 21369 Center Ridge Rd. 44116, followed by a funeral service at 12:00 PM, and burial at Holy Cross, Brookpark.
