Carressia Smith Obituary
Carressia Leanne Smith, 38, of Raeford, North Carolina, passed away on April 28, 2025 at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center.
Carressia was born on September 17, 1986 to Jake Barry Maynard, Sr. and Patricia Lynn Hollingsworth.
She was a fun and loving spirit who everyone enjoyed being around. She was a wonderful sister, mother, wife, and friend to all that knew her.
She is preceded in death by her mother, Patricia Maynard; grandfathers, Marion Hollingsworth and Simuel Maynard; and grandmother, Mary Lee Maynard.
She is survived by her sons, Cameron Miller, Quinton Miller, Colton Smith, and Jaxon Spencer; daughters, Presley Smith and Journey Spencer; brothers, Jake Barry Maynard, Jr. (Michelle), and Jeremy Maynard (Amanda); grandmother, Laura Hollingsworth; and a host of extended family members and friends.
The family will receive friends Saturday, May 10, 2025 from 2:00 PM – 3:00 PM at Solid Rock United Pentecostal Church, 1430 N. Main St, Raeford, NC 28376.
Funeral services will follow promptly at 3:00 PM with Reverend Frank Dublin officiating.
Interment will follow in Raeford Cemetery, Raeford, NC.
