She began her career as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), and she faithfully worked for Cooke Nursing Home, Commander, Dominion Health Care, and numerous private duties. Carrie also worked for many years as a Childcare Professional.

Carrie was a very soft-spoken, generous woman with a big heart. She was a faithful woman of God who accepted everyone with open arms and a perpetual smile.
