Carrie Elaine Marks Weier

On Tuesday, September 23, 2025 Carrie Elaine Marks Weier "Kinners" was welcomed into the loving arms of her savior Jesus.

She was preceded in death by her father Ron Marks and survived by her beloved husband, Jeff Weier, her loving mother, Jean (step-father Tom) Talkowski; her children, son Donny Svitak, daughters Jessica (Brad) Gunderson, Ashley (Adam) Johnson; her sisters, Linda (Ken) Pigsley, Michelle (Kevin) Ray, step-brother Matt Talkowski; grandchildren Carter, Emrie and Ethan Gunderson, Jack, Parker, Alex and Amelia Johnson; nieces Megan and Kayleigh Pigsley; special Uncle Arvid Wold "shenanigan officer", Aunt Diane Hannemann, Lisa Otto (widow of Keith), Scott (Jennifer) Otto, Christopher (Amy) Otto; step-children, Alyssa (Josh) Vogel, Cheyenne Weier, Chad Olson, Krissy Olson; step-grandchildren, Maisy, Ava and Randy Kellogg, Kenzie, Kaleb and Kane Vogel, Tyler Zeise; cousins Jill "shenanigan cohort" (Don) Albrecht, Jodi Wold, Mike Wold, Lori (Dean) Truckenbrod, Julie (Andy) Kortendick, Karla (Kevin) Kegley; sisters and brothers-in-law Lucy (Tom) Seidl, Amy (Albert) Olson, Jack (Jane) Weier, Lee (Heike) Weier, Vince (Laura) Weier and so many other special relatives and friends, including Andrea Bullock, Angela Blaser, Terri Parker and Verna Hayden.

Carrie faced her battle with cancer with the faith and heart of a warrior and handled every treatment with dignity and grace, a true inspiration to those around her.

Through her love of grooming, she was able to mentor many who went on to be successful in their own grooming shops. She was awarded several accommodations from the City of Gillett and Oconto County for excellence in business.

In her own words:

Eternally loved by my devoted furry companions Holly, Beau, Bella, Roxie "Pooter pie", Douglas "Lissy", Sylvie "the Stabber", because without them I would not have pushed or thrived.

I have been blessed by so many wonderful clients and friends who have supported, prayed and uplifted me and my family throughout the years. Dog grooming was not only my career but my passion. I have thoroughly enjoyed being creative bringing new looks to my furry friends. I loved them all, even the naughty ones.

My three trips to Kauai were unforgettable, heaven on earth, beautiful surroundings, sunsets, floral scents and of course many shenanigans with awesome family and friends.

Throughout my life I have enjoyed so much music, singing and playing any musical instrument I could get my hands on; particularly my flute, piccolo, guitar, piano, violin and ukulele. My wish for you is to continue the legacy of music in our family.

My prayer for you is to love every animal and have the patience and compassion to offer comfort to all in need as I have tried to do in my words and actions.

God bless you all

Memorial will be held at a later date.
