Carrie Speers Obituary
Entered into rest on Friday, January 24th, 2025 at the age of 67. Loving wife of the late Thomas Speers and the late Peter Monat, cherished mother of Heather Lutz and Tom (Angie) Speers; dear Nana of Avery, Jaxson, and Tommy; beloved sister of Susan (Michael) Ruby and Tracy (Lynn) Ramsey; dear daughter of the late Richard and Betty Ramsey. She was a dear aunt and friend to many.
Carrie enjoyed crafting, quilting, traveling, reading, and visiting antique stores. Her great sense of humor led her to make friends everywhere she went. Carrie dedicated her life to her nursing career and spent time in several roles, from working as a cardiac intensive care nurse to managing healthcare systems. Above all, she loved spending time with her family - especially her grandkids. She will be missed by all who knew her.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 30th, from 3pm until the time of service at 7pm at Hutchens-Stygar Funeral & Cremation Center. Private interment at a later date at Ste. Philippine Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the National Kidney Foundation.
