Carter Lindberg

Carter Dubbs Lindberg left us today to be with her partner, parents and sister in heaven. Carter was a lifelong Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania area resident having been born in Sewickley and raised in Allison Park, most recently living in Beaver. Carters' friends and family remember her as a sweet soul, always kind and optimistic.

Carter attended Hampton High School and graduated in the class of 1969 still friends with several of her classmates. Carter starred as Calamity Jane in the high school singing brilliantly - we were all so proud of her. Carter also attended Penn St Univ. Carter was married to Jim Lindberg and most recently partners with Jim Peale who passed away last year. In recent years Carter could be found at Brighton Nursing Home playing cards and enjoying social events with her friends - they thought their "Cartie" was a sweet friend.

Carter is preceded in death by her parents Dean and Dottie as well as her sister Sarah and is survived in death by her sister Jane and brothers Brad and Ted.

A celebration of her life will take place in 2026, date to be announced.
