Cary Burton, M.D.

In loving memory of Cary Layne Burton, M.D., who passed away on 1/3/23 after a struggle with Lewy Body Dementia. He is survived by his wife of 54 years and junior high sweetheart, Lois, and their children Lewis, Jessica and Joe and their families. He graduated Highland Park High School in 1966, Rice University in 1970, and Baylor College of Medicine in 1975. An avid lover of music, cars, and his community, that which he most prized was the forgiveness and hope offered to him by his Savior, Christ Jesus. We, his family, saw firsthand the radical change his faith had in shaping him into the forbearing, loving, generous person he grew to become. A celebration of his life will be held on Saturday, January 14th, from 1-4 PM come-and-go, with remarks at 1:30 PM, at Trinity Hills Baptist Church in Benbrook, Texas.
