What a wonderful example of a true human being you were.........gracious, kind, loving, generous of spirit and always a smile on your face. No one would have known you were battling cancer. I will miss you.

Cary and I met at Gilda's Club Desert Cities.
From that first hello I could see she was one of those special people. She was also a volunteer at Gilda's, helping in any she could. That was Cary.

We will all miss you,
John Mello

Meeting my Warrior Sister, Cary, at Gilda's Club was a true joy despite the circumstances. Cary was one of the warmest, most genuine women I knew. Her smile and her enthusiasm for life despite difficult circumstances led the way for many of us.

In our seven years living on Maui, Cary and Eddies restaurant is one of the things high on the very good memories. We walked in looking for the old Chart House and immediately became friends, that was the way Cary was. From then on it became our "go to" place for a quiet dinner or a big celebration. Whatever it was Cary made it better. She made the best "Hawaiian" style macaroni salad in the islands and always had a little left over to send home with me. A light has gone out of our lives. Bless you Cary, you will be missed.
