It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Casey A. Brown, who left us on June 5, 2024, after a fatal car crash in Boston, MA. Casey was born on October 4, 1992, in Northampton, MA. Casey lived a vibrant and adventurous life, cherished by his family and friends.
Casey was the beloved son of Toby and Teeka (Cram) Brown of Belchertown. He leaves behind his children son Oliver Thomas Brown and daughter Autumn Maple Eily Brown of Pittsfield, Ma who he loved beyond words and just didn't get enough time with. Casey shared his life with his girlfriend Jessie Chorzewski, her son Bennett and their dog Otto, with whom he resided in Plymouth, MA. He also leaves his Loving Brothers, Brett Brown and his wife Nicole and Cody Brown and his wife Nora along with their two sons Callan & Jordan, all of Belchertown. He is also survived by his maternal grandparents, Albert and Diane Cram of North Carolina, as well as a large extended family of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends who will all miss him dearly.
Casey was raised in Belchertown, playing youth football for the Belchertown/Granby Eagles, was on the Belchertown Little League team who went on to win their district, and played recreational, CYO and Suburban basketball. In his teen years, you could find Casey at the Belchertown Skate Park, in the woods and anywhere there was a sign that said, "No Biking or Skateboarding", perfecting his stunts on his BMX bike. He went on to graduate from Pathfinder Regional Vocational Technical High School in 2011. Casey channeled his skills into a career as a carpenter in the construction industry. After high school, he moved away to Mooresville, NC where he proudly built and raced his Legend Race Car at Charlotte Motor Speedway. He then moved out to the West Coast and lived in California for a few years before coming back to New England living in Pittsfield before relocating to Plymouth, MA.
Casey was one of the hardest workers you will have ever met. In his free time, he liked to fish, play softball, and strum on his guitar. Toby, Brett, Cody and Casey always looked forward to their yearly boys fishing trip on family vacation in Narragansett, RI. The thing that Casey cherished the most was his time with his children.
Casey's passing leaves an irreplaceable void, but the memories of his loving heart and his contagious laugh will live on forever with those who knew and loved him.
Services will take place on Friday June 21st at Beers and Story Funeral Home, 10 Main St, Belchertown, MA. 01007. Calling hours will be from 5pm - 7pm with a service to begin at 7:00pm. The family would love the celebration of Casey to continue, and arrangements will be made to gather afterwards. Please bring your stories and memories of Casey so we can continue to honor his life.
A college account is being set up for his children. Donations can be made there, and We will update the website as soon as the account has been set up. We also will let you know when the celebration gathering has been arranged so, please check the Beers & Story website for updated information.
