Casey Kangas Obituary
Casey Allyn Kangas was born on June 27, 1981, in Glenwood, Minnesota the son of Clare and Doreen (Bachmann) Kangas. He grew up in rural Brandon and graduated from Evansville High School. In his younger years he enjoyed cooking at local restaurants, worked on several Dairy Farms. Later on in life he worked as a welder for Voyager Aluminum and Standard Iron.
Casey will be remembered as a person who loved to make people laugh and would give you the shirt off his back. He enjoyed dressing up for Halloween and scaring family and friends.
Casey died on Monday, February 24, 2025 at his home. He is survived by his mom, Doreen Kangas and several cousins, aunts and uncles.
He was preceded in death by his dad, Clare and brother, Cory.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 4, 2025, 12:00 - 1:00 PM at the Anderson Funeral Home with a Memorial Service at 1:00 PM at the funeral home. Burial will be at the Finnish Apostolic Cemetery.
