Casey Joseph Kell

Casey Joseph Kell, 26, of Granite City, Illinois passed away at 11:35 p.m. on Thursday, September 20, 2012 in St. Louis, Missouri. He was born in St. Louis on June 9, 1986, a son of Dane L. and Jana K. (Smith) Kell. He was a grain inspector with IOGI in Sauget, Illinois. He was an inspired and talented musician and played the drums with the band, "Great Isaac". He will be remembered for the love and special times shared with his family and friends. In addition to his beloved parents, he is survived by two sisters and one brother-in-law, Kinsey L. and Clayton McKibbin of St. Ann, Missouri and Jamie Lee Kell of Granite City; one brother and sister-in-law, Thomas and Leigha Kell of Granite City; one nephew, Dylan Kell; grandmothers, Bobbie Jean Kell of Petersburg, Indiana and Margaret J. Smith of Granite City; aunts; uncles; cousins; other extended family and many friends. He was preceded in death by grandfathers, Raymond L. Kell and Marion E. Smith. In celebration of his life, visitation will be at Irwin Chapel, 3960 Maryville Road in Granite City on Monday, September 24, 2012 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. where funeral services will be held on Tuesday, September 25, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. with Reverend John Gamblin officiating. Burial will be at St. John Cemetery on Nameoki Road in Granite City.
