Casey Marie Rivera

Casey Marie Rivera, a student at The University of Incarnate Word and resident of San Antonio, died unexpectedly on November 30, 2014 at the age of 18. She was a 2014 graduate, with honors, from Churchill High School. She was currently in her freshman year at University of Incarnate Word in San Antonio where she was majoring in art when she went to be with her Lord and Savior. Casey is survived by her parents, Joe Rivera, Wade and Angel Middleton; her sister, Haley Rivera; brother, Colin Rivera and her grandparents, Patrick and Patricia Mattingly, Grandpa Joe Rivera and Grandmother Guadalupe Crane in addition to numerous other family members. All of who will miss her dearly. Casey's enthusiasm and passion for cats, from the time she was a child, led to her nickname "Kitty". Casey painted every time she got the chance. She loved to paint. She enjoyed time at the lake during the summer with her family. Casey was forever quick to smile, share jokes and ensure everyone around her was having a good time. Her smile, compassion for others, beauty and love for her family will always be remembered by everyone she met in her life. ROSARY FRIDAY DECEMBER 5, 2014 7:00 P.M. ST.
