Funeral service for Casey Ross, age 82 of Sulphur Springs, Texas will be held at 3:00 P.M. on Tuesday, September 19, 2023 at Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home with Bro. Bill Ladd officiating. Interment will follow at Old Tarrant Cemetery with Phil Ross, Chad Ross, Chayson Ross, Chris Ross, Charlie Ross, and Bruce Hammargren serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be the directors of City National Bank. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Mr. Ross passed away on September 16, 2023 at his residence.

Casey was born on April 8, 1941 in Sulphur Springs, Texas to Kenneth Euwin and Lillie (Reed) Ross. He married Pat Bain. They were together for 66 years. Casey owned and operated Ross Refrigeration, as a dairy supplier and was the director and stockholder of City National Bank for 38 years. He loved to hunt. Casey never met a stranger. He was friendly to everyone he encountered. Casey was a member of the Restoration Church in Lone Oak.

He is survived by his wife, Pat; son, Tony Ross and wife, Shelley; daughter, Tammy Hammargren and husband, Bruce; grandchildren, Chad Ross, Chayson Ross, Chena Westbrook and husband, Shannon, Caleb Hammargren and wife, Vivian; great grandchildren, Chloe Ross, Peyton Westbrook, Brannon Westbrook, Addy Ross and CJ Ross; brother, Phillip Ross and wife, Glenda; sister-in-law, Linda Ross, Kathy Ross, Netha Hoover; numerous nieces and nephews.

Casey was preceded in death by his parents; grandson, Chance Ross; brothers, James Ross, Jerry Ross and Larry Ross; mother and father-in-law, Jim and Naomi Bain.
