Casimiro M Muniz

Casimiro Muñiz, Sr., of Farwell, Texas, died Monday, February 10, 2025 in Farwell. He was born March 4, 1936 in Edinburg, Texas to Gilberto Guadalupe (Munguia) Muñiz. He was married to Carla Baca.
Casimiro was a truck driver for many years. He loved to watch westerns and wrestling WWE. He was a great cook and made the best tamales and barbacoa. Casimiro also enjoyed doing woodwork. He loved music and playing his accordion. Casimiro was a huge jokester and loved playing with his kittens and gardening. He is preceded in death by his wife, Carla; a son, Casimiro Muñiz Jr.; two sisters, Juana Macias and Concha Gonzales; and two brothers, Santiago Muñiz and Gilberto Muñiz.
Casimiro is survived by his four sons, Gilbert Muñiz of Littlefield, Texas, Antonio Muñiz and his wife, Sandra of Madison, Wisconsin, Casimiro John Muniz III and his wife, Erika of Lancaster, California and Gregorio Muñiz of Amarillo, Texas; his eight daughters, Alicia Martinez and her husband, Mike of Lubbock, Texas, Maria Muñiz of Dallas, Texas, Carmel Muniz of Amherst, Texas, Guadalupe Muñiz of Whiteface, Texas, Anita Montañez and her husband, Bolio of Whiteface, Texas, Dolores Flores of Whiteface, Texas, Rosa Quevedo and her husband, Roman of Houston, Texas and Viola Muñiz and Jeff Jimenez of Amarillo, Texas; his four sisters, Maggie Muñiz of Dallas, Texas, Santos Muñiz of Muleshoe, Texas, Lupe Soto and her husband, Roberto of Washington DC and SanJuana Muñiz of Dallas, Texas; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
