To Mother Lonesome, Michael, Kim, Michele and all of the other Members of Cassandra's Beautiful Family:

Please know that I join you in grief and sadness. You know that Sandy and I met at Stockton Grammar School in East Orange in about the 5th grade, and we have remained friends throughout the years.  No one loved family, friends and the community more than she did.

I always loved her poem, "Mourning Time," which now provides the words to comfort us through our great loss.

". . . Time to

Sire sons,

Care for the elderly,

Leave a legacy,"

May we all be inspired by her life of steady, reliable love, and may she take her eternal rest in the bosom of Jesus.

Please accept these heartfelt condolences shared by her old friend from North Seventeenth Street "down-the-way" East Orange.

Sincerely,

Janice Harris Jackson and Family:  Sidney Jackson, Sr.;  Sidney Jackson, Jr.;  Mother Kathryn Harris;  and Matt Harris, Jr.
