Cassie Michelle Fender

Cassie Michelle Fender, 38, of Marion, North Carolina, passed away Sunday, June 05, 2022.
She was born on May 08, 1984 in Rutherford County.
Cassie enjoyed watching movies, fishing, and racing. She was an avid fan of basketball and followed the Tennessee Lady Volunteers. She was also a music lover. Cassie loved children, and she had a special place in her heart for her niece and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Cecil and Hazel Fender; and a cousin, Rebecca Rose Buckner.
She is survived by her father, William Fender (Kathy); her mother, Sharon Fender; two sisters, Chelsea Lowery (Thomas) and Callie Fender (Tyler); aunts and uncle, Barbara Reed, Kenny and Sandra Fender, Lynn Buckner, and Jeannie Ridley; her maternal grandparents, Bobby and Mary Reed; and her niece and nephews, Carsyn Vess, Brysyn Vess, Mylie Lowery, and Liam Lowery.
A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, June 08, 2022 at 4:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Beam Funeral Service with Pastor Leo Kuykendall and Pastor Victor Worley officiating. The family will receive friends from 3:00 until 4:00 p.m.
