Cassie Jo Fitch

Cassie Jo Fitch (née Griffin), 85, passed away on June 28, 2024, in Bakersfield, California. Born on July 28, 1938, in Batesville, Arkansas, she was a cherished member of her community and a devoted mother and grandmother.

Cassie dedicated many years as an Avon Lady, where she achieved the prestigious Presidents Club status, and took pride in her role as a homemaker.

Cassie had a passion for her birds and loved her trips to Las Vegas . She found joy in the simple pleasures of life, cherishing every moment spent with her family and friends.

A very special Thank you for our beloved and cherished Aunt Pat Calhoun who has been there taking care of all of moms needs from the time she went into Orchard to the very end.

She is survived by her daughters, Gail Herrera (Rick) of Exeter, California, and Teri Fitch of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; her son, Steven Fitch of Granbury, Texas; nine grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren. Cassie was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 48 years, Leonard Fitch; her son, Ronald Fitch; and her parents, Hubert and Virgie Mae Griffin.

Her viewing will be on July 10th from 4-8 PM.
Graveside services on July 11th at 9:00 AM. .
