I am very sorry for your loss. Cathy was a kind person who helped me feel welcome in the Department of Sociology. We shared a love of gardening. She will be missed.

Your mom was one of the sweetest ladies around. I had such admiration for the way she cared for her family. She will be missed in the sociology department.

I am deeply saddened to hear of Cathy's passing. There are so many things I appreciate about Cathy. As a co-worker, Cathy was always so kind to me and so genuine. She took the time to listen to me and help me get things accomplished. She always asked me how my daughter was doing and really seemed interested in my reply. I will miss her!

We are so saddened to hear of Cathy's passing. Her beautiful smile and heart warming spirit could light up a room and she will be sorely missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her and loving her. We always looked forward to her visits to Edgewater because we could count on a very spirited game of Upsy and a loaf of "Cathy bread". Rest in Peace dear Cathy. We love you, Norm and Jan Kerns

Such a sweet lady in high school. Yes, her and Rex were meant for each other.

What a fun , joy filled friend Cathy was! She and Rex were an example of the ideal couple in High school. We loved them both then and am sorry she has passed on. My sympathy to her family.

Cathy is now at rest and in a better place where their is no more pain.
I can visualize Cathy's smiling face that she always had even under the worst of circumstances.
She will be dearly missed by her family and many friends.

My sympathy goes out to the Arnette Family during this time of grief. The lost of someone we love, at a time much to soon for us will surely be missed by many. As your days and weeks pass, and you return to life's routine, may you continue to feel comforted by the love and support of family and friends and know that God is near when our hearts are broken.

This was terribly sad news. It's been decades since I saw Cathy and yet seeing this has flooded my brain with fond memories. I remember her as always having a smile on her face, being extremely patient and nice to under-classmen and she was truly a wonderful big sister to Marcee when I was around. My deepest sympathy to everyone in her family.

Happy memories passed through me remembering cathy., mostly of the exciting relationship for she and rex. God bless what must be her sweet family.

Cathy was a sweet school friend. Our paths only passed occasionally after graduation but our love of Jesus was a connection that made us sisters forever and gave us joy as we would share about our families. I know nothing can ease the pain of her loss,...but knowing I'll get to see her whole and happy in heaven, gives me hope and comfort. I pray it does for family and others also. I remember Cathy from Middle school, (New Smyrna Beach Middle School, and her love of life. She was a beautiful person. My hope for Rex and the family is that they are at peace knowing Cathy is in a better place and no longer in pain. Cathy had a beautiful spirit and will always be remembered.
