Ms. Catherine "Cathy" Bayless

Ms. Cathy Bayless, 57, entered into rest on Wednesday, December 30, 2009 surrounded by her loving family. Cathy was born in Baytown, Texas to Charles Robert and Lillie May Bayless on July 28, 1952. She grew up and attended schools in Channelview, Texas where she graduated from Channelview High School in 1971. In high school Cathy was active in the Future Farmers of America and the Rodeo Club where she won numerous belt buckles. Cathy worked for many years at Armco Steel and retired from Southwestern Bell Yellow Pages in January of 2008 after 20 years of employment. Cathy will always be remembered for living life with no limits. . Survivors include her mother, Lillie May "Lil" Bayless; sister, Patty Bayless Kahlden and her husband, Thomas; nephew, Kolby Kahlden: cousins, Rick Bayless of Horseshoe Bay, Joanna Bayless of New York City, Robert Bayless of Mexico, Linda Cargil Nichols and Carolyn Cargill Woods of Nacogdoches, Bill Cargill of Bryan, Trey Carmack and Katie Carmack Howard of Columbus, GA. She also leaves to cherish her memory other family members and friends too numerous to mention along with her sweet dappled dachund, Corinna. Cathy was married to Franklin White on November 4, 2007. Those serving as pallbearers were Al White, Curt White, Bill White, Thomas Kahlden, Bill Cargill and Don Gray. Honorary pallbearer, Kolby Kahlden.
