I was so intimidated to go through sorority rush at Cal. "Mrs. Beardsley" wrote me such a lovely recommendation for Alpha Phi that these girls rushed me all the way to the last day, a testament to the high regard for their Alumnae, Catherine.
I don't remember if I thanked her properly, but she helped me feel at home in a huge University. Thank you Catherine, Rest in Peace
