Age 92 of Corvallis, passed away peacefully on Thursday, June 27, 2024 at her home with her family by her side.
Born April 8, 1932 in Cottonwood, Idaho, Catherine was one of thirteen of her brothers and sisters and was a daughter of Vincent and Anna (Bogli) Duman. On November 4, 1950, she married the love of her life, Mr. Richard J. Brockamp at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Mt. Angel, Oregon. Together they made a home and raised their family.
Catherine was a devout catholic and in 1967 became a Catholic daughter. She was also a longtime parishioner of St. Mary Catholic Church in Corvallis. Catherine will be deeply missed by all who know her, but never forgotten.
She is survived by her four children: Sandra, Daniel, Raven and Jaime; eleven grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren.
Per Catherine's wishes, cremation rites have been accorded.
A memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, August 2, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Mary Catholic Church, 501 NW 25th Street in Corvallis.
Catherine will be laid to rest with her husband at Willamette National Cemetery at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made as gifts in Catherine's name to either the American Cancer Society or to St. Mary Catholic Church.
