Catherine Brunell

Catherine Brunell, age 74 of Franklin, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Friday, July 29th, 2022 at the St. Joseph's Hospital in Wayne.
Born in Franklin to the late George and Tina (Saitta) Estell, Catherine had lived in Hamburg and Lincoln Park for many years before settling back in Franklin in 2003.
Catherine was a devoted homemaker and a loving wife and mother. She enjoyed cooking and baking, coffee, and spending time with family and friends. She could always be seen wearing flip-flops, regardless of the season. Catherine also loved kids and had a habit of taking care of everyone before herself.
Predeceased by her parents; husband David Brunell; and a brother, Joseph Estell, Catherine is survived by her son, Paul and wife Sherri Brunell; daughter Lisa Brunell, all of Franklin; and brother, George Estell and wife Teko Estell of Rome, NY.; a niece Annette Estell and family of Arizona; a nephew Rodney Estell and family living in Japan; and a niece Alicia Estell. She is also survived by her loving grand-dogs, Si-Ce and Charlotte.
A visitation for Catherine will be held on Wednesday, August 3rd, 2022 from 10AM to 12PM at the F. John Ramsey Funeral Home, One Main Street, Franklin, NJ 07416. A service will follow at 12 noon at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to either American Lung Association (lung.org) or the American Heart Association (heart.org).
