Catherine Mary "Kay" Cahall

Catherine "Kay" Mary Cahall, 97, who most recently lived in Woolwich Gardens, passed away on November 6, 2025.
Born in Wilmington, Delaware, Kay was the daughter of Thomas and Catherine C. Conner (nee: Jones) Morrison. She spent most of her life in Carneys Point, where she worked for many years in the Penns Grove–Carneys Point School System, serving in the cafeterias at both Carlton and ReHi schools.
After retiring, Kay and her late husband, Roy, moved to Inverness, Florida, in 1990. During their time there, Roy served as chaplain of the local VFW, and Kay became an active member of the Women's Auxiliary, proudly serving as both vice president and later president. Following Roy's passing, she returned home to New Jersey in 2017 to be closer to family.
Kay is survived by her two daughters, Carol Priest of Logan and Sally Curriden of Pedricktown; her grandson, Daniel Curriden and his wife, Marne; and her great-grandsons, Schuyler, Ian, and Blake. In addition to her parents and beloved husband, she was predeceased by her brother, Thomas Morrison.
Services will be private and held at the convenience of the family.
