Catherine Clausen

Catherine W. Clausen, 92, of Princeton passed away on Saturday, November 8, 2025, at Artis Senior Living of Princeton.
She was born in Hopewell, NJ. Catherine worked in human resources for ETS in Lawrence Township. She was a past member of the Princeton First Aid and Rescue Ladies Auxiliary.
Catherine enjoyed sewing and needlework. She was a fantastic cook! She enjoyed hosting all the holidays and preparing home cooked meals! She always made sure there was plenty for everyone and always room for 1or 2 more!
She and PopPop both enjoyed weekend sleepovers with the grandchildren as did the grandchildren ! How lucky we all are to have these special memories !
Predeceased by her husband John H. Clausen Sr., parents Paul and Catherine (Fink) Wagner, her nine siblings, and a daughter-in-law Patricia Clausen.
Catherine is survived by two sons and a daughter-in-law John H. Clausen Jr., Larry and Cindy Clausen, five grandchildren Chrissy and Tim Register, Debbie and Jeff Galant, Meghan and Tim VanNostrand, Caitlyn Clausen and Brett Butler, John H. Clausen III and seven great-grandchildren Maya Register, Emma Register, Colton VanNostrand, Hailey VanNorstrand, Jade Butler, Brayden Galant, Benjamin Galant, several nieces and nephews, and loving caretaker Kate Schwartz.
A Visitation will be held from 4:00PM – 7:00PM on Thursday, November 13, 2025, and 10:00AM – 11:00AM on Friday, November 14, 2025, at The Mather-Hodge Funeral Home, 40Vandeventer Avenue Princeton, NJ. A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00AM on Friday, November 14, 2025, at The Mather-Hodge Funeral Home, 40 Vandeventer Avenue Princeton, NJ. Burial will follow in Princeton Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Princeton Elks Camp Moore or Princeton First Aid and Rescue.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to all the staff in the memory care unit at Artis Senior Living.
