Catherine Ann Coy

Catherine Ann Coy (nee Hilton), 71, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her children, Sunday, October 10, 2010 in Rossford, Ohio following a courageous battle with cancer. She resided in Elyria for 38 years. She was born April 22, 1939 in Schenectady, New York. Catherine was employed at the Elyria KinderCare Learning Center as an Infant Room teacher for many years. She enjoyed water aerobics, reading, playing bingo and going to casinos. Mrs. Coy is survived by her daughter Erin (Coy) Crawford (husband, John) of Rossford and son Timothy Coy of San Francisco, CA; very adorable grandchildren Katie and Seth Crawford; and brother Gordon Hilton of Daytona Beach, FL. She was preceded in death by her husband of 43 years David W. Coy, infant daughter Patricia Ann Coy, brother Boyd Hilton, sister Jane Garahan and parents George B. and Carmen E. (nee Cartwright) Hilton. A memorial service will be 2pm Saturday, October 16 at the Busch Funeral Home, 114 Second Street, Elyria. Connie Smith, Busch Celebrant, will officiate.
